No, not Lexie Beth.
Just a few minutes ago, I was sitting in our study working on my Sunday School lesson. Mike was asking Jeeves what the star that is shining SO brightly tonight, right next to the moon was…..(VENUS). Have you looked outside tonight? The view is A-MAZING!
Anyway….
All of the sudden, I heard yelping and some SERIOUS scrapping out front. Windows are all shut tight, heat is running, and it sounds like somebody is fighting in the living room. Mike raced for the door, to check outside, and declared….”COYOTES!” They were barking/howling/yelping up a storm!
It was really cool, so we drug Brendan out of bed to let him hear, he was less than enthused. Especially when we had to open the front door and freeze him.
Okay, back to your regularly scheduled program.
We have been hearing them over here a lot lately. Kinda cool, kinda freaky, they sound like a child screaming and I wake up and have to decifer if it was one of mine or them!! But we have never actually seen them! How neat! And you’re right…
The sky IS awesome!!
great night sky. Iona and I were out late getting dog food and arguing over planet or star being next to the moon. Na
It could possibly be our neighbors beagles. On a clear night Cal and Paula can hear them on their road…and we, obviously, can hear all 25+ even on not clear nights. (sigh) They also sing during the day, especially if sirens go by.
Do you want me to call if the Northern Lights are ever dancing? They are worth the freeze!
