I love this smile. It makes my heart soar and makes me proud to be her mom. It is funny, but in the throws of today, it is easy for me to loose sight of the joy and simplicity of motherhood. I need to spend time cooking, cleaning, folding, straightening, working on speech homework, working on handwriting worksheets, working on Cubbies verses, and even working on tummy time.
And sometimes, if the moment is just right, Lexie will smile and God will remind me, simply, in that breezy way of His, that my focus is wrong even if my intentions are right…
